The Swedish Criminal Records Registry is administered by the Swedish National Police Board which regulates access to criminal records and the use of criminal background checks by employers. To learn about a person’s criminal history, you can request a criminal record check be performed. Massachusetts has 2 types of criminal records. Name-based court arraignment records, also known as CORI, are created and maintained by the Massachusetts courts. Fingerprint-supported arrest records, which are created by police departments at the time of arrest, can contain information about both state and national arrests.

Data involving Minor offences are stored until five years after the irrevocable settlement of the case – extended to ten years if the individual was sentenced to prison or community service.
